What decaffeination processes do you use?

We use three different methods across our range. The Brazilian Arabica beans use the CO2 process, which preserves the smooth chocolatey character. Our Decaf Espresso combines Mountain Water processed Mexican beans (chemical-free) with MC processed Brazilian beans (for body and crema). Which decaf should I choose for espresso?

The Decaffeinated Espresso Coffee Beans are specifically developed for espresso machines. The dark roast and MC processed Brazilian beans create the thick crema and full body that espresso needs. The Brazilian Arabica works in espresso too, but it's better suited to filter, cafetière, or bean-to-cup machines.

What's the difference between your two decaf bean products?

The Brazilian Arabica is a single-origin, medium-dark roast with milk chocolate sweetness and a clean finish. It's CO2 decaffeinated and versatile across brewing methods. The Decaf Espresso is a darker roasted Mexican and Brazilian combination, specifically designed for pressurised extraction with bolder, nuttier flavours and richer crema.

Is the Café Nueva instant suitable for vending machines?

Yes. The granules are specifically sized to dissolve properly in commercial vending machines without clogging. It also works perfectly for manual preparation at home or in the office.

How much caffeine is in your decaf products?

All our decaf products contain trace amounts only. The Café Nueva instant contains less than 0.1% caffeine. This is considered caffeine-free and suitable for drinking at any time, including before bed.

What sizes are available?

The Brazilian Arabica and Decaf Espresso beans come in 1kg bags for home use or 6kg bulk packs for offices and catering. The Café Nueva instant comes in a 300g jar that makes approximately 150 servings.

Are your decaf products suitable for vegans?
